His style has been described as a luxuriant Secessionist style relying on Hungarian folk-art motifs (see Grove Dictionary of Art.) 8vo., Illustration on title page plus 30 pages of plates (complete), illustration on final end page, decorated boards. Disbound, lacks spine, leaves browned and brittle with chipping in margins (not affecting images). Housed in matching box. Box intact, quite worn and chipping on corners. Rare. (a51277)
