Title on cover of book: The Battle Field of the 71st Reg'T. 12mo., 58pp., original boards. All edges gilt. Book's owner - Henry Camp - apparently fought in this first battle of Manassas . He signed the presentation of this book to US Grant Post No. 327 in 1890 and wrote a handwritten note telling a bit about the last few days of life of another member of "our company" - a William M Smith - who was wounded and died from the battle.
