Pictorial plate map as frontispiece and engraving on tp. 119p. 19 plates. Both books begin with a fullpage pictorial map and an engraving on the titlepage map and 19 fullpage steel engravings. Plates are finely engraving, some quite stunning , on heavy stock. Some plates have light foiixng most plates just have none or light foxing in margins. All have original tissue guards. 3/4 brown leather with marbled boards. Good, end papers foxed, one outer hinge cracking but still holding on well, one inner hinge lightly tender but paper has not yet cracked; binding secure . No owner marks.
