Paris 1959 1st edition. Dom Knigi. 12mo wraps. Text entirely in Russian. First 62 pages are poems by Blokh, (1899-1943) written in the 1920s and 30s. Remaining pages are poems by her husband Mikhail Gorlin (1909-1943.) Then follows a two-page editorial comment on the two Russian emigre poets and a photo illustration of what appears to have been the last letter Raisa wrote before the couple was captured by the Germans. They died in a German concentration camp in 1943. There are 3 fullpage illustrations, one a drawing by N. Brodsky showing a sort of time-lapse picture of Blokh's face shown in three overlapping pictures as she turns her head to look at the viewer; the second is a portrait of the very handsome Mikhail Gorlin; third is the aforementioned letter.
