Lg.4to., title page in Volume 1: HIstoria Imperii Japanoice, Londini, MDCCXXVII, title page in English in red and black ink, 10pp., LII, 612pp., 75pp., 6pp., 45 plates many of which are foldout or doublepage, full leather with gilt decorated spine and mounted red leather spine label. Neat Fine internally (wrinkle on second title page and two small pieces of adhesive tape on initial pages. Binding is Fair, the covers are beginning to detach and the leather is beginning to separate, the spine is detached (in nice condition). Needs appropriate rebinding.
